Embassy Freight is expanding, and as such we are looking for an experienced forwarder to join our team. Are you the experienced forwarder we're looking for?
Forwarder with experience (M/F), full time
The job:
You will use your experience and sense of responsibility to follow-up on shipment files of several clients. You handle bookings, planning, follow-up and revenue of each shipment, from beginning to end.
You safeguard the entire process, carefully selecting suppliers and take action to prevent or resolve any issues.
Furthermore, you maintain contact (both via email as well as per telephone) with customers, suppliers, partners and hauliers.
Who are we looking for?
You are certified at bachelor level, preferably in logistics management or have similar experience in expedition.
You're a professional who has complete control of their files and has a strong affinity with computers and / or MS office.
Some knowledge of customs and hazardous cargo is an absolute plus!
Beyond this, you are accurate, you have strong communication skills and are multi-lingual: Dutch, French and English, any other languages are a plus.
You have a hands-on mentality, can work under pressure and you enjoy working in a team.
